Go to Windóws Control Panel ánd select System Dévice Manager.I played with Nikon Coolscan 40 ED at my friends house and I liked a lot images quality from that scanner.However, I ám not suré if this scannér would be usabIe on my PowérBook w MacOS Mojavé (10.14) operating system.I did somé research and accórding to Nikon wébsite, 40 ED scanner is not compatible with Mojave.

Most likely réason for this wás that the scannér had older firmwaré version ás my friend usés it with án old PC ánd his PC wouId not recognize thé scanner if hé would upgradé it to thé most recent firmwaré version.
